Carol Grimes founded Adosa Wellness in 2022 with the vision of creating a space to support and inspire your yoga and wellness journey, offering thoughtfully planned classes, a nourishing community, and an exceptional teaching team. The name of the studio, Adosa, is a word that has roots in both Sanskrit and Pali and is loosely translated as “friendship.”

Adosa’s founder, Carol Grimes, RYT, MPH, has been a yoga, meditation, and self-care teacher for over 10 years. She has helped hundreds of students experience the nourishing and healing aspects of yoga with her therapeutic and accessible approach backed by research. Carol encourages her students to listen to their bodies and strengthen their self-awareness and self-trust. She specializes in healing through movement, the deeper spiritual practices of yoga, and yoga for joint health.
